Mommy-Magic is a new, but growing blog/community site aimed toward mothers in the United States. The content developed is always positive and supportive - in an ongoing attempt to help make moms' lives a little bit easier and more effective, at the same time inserting a little bit of humor into the madness!
A Chance to Get In "On the Ground Floor"
Effective Summer 2010, we're adding the option to advertise on the Mommy-Magic website. As this is a new endeavor for us, we're offering very competitive introductory rates.
Our commitment to our first advertisers - we won't raise your rates for 12 months. Period.
Why is that important?
The Mommy-Magic Facebook Fan page currently has 4,900 fans - that's grown from a few hundred in three short months. Now, we're moving a lot of the interactivity provided on Facebook to the website, including a user-participatory page for "Mom Stories". As well, every effort on our part will be made to move Facebook fans and new new visitors to participate on the Mommy-Magic website.
What does that mean for you?
Simply, a growing base of visitors who will see your ad. And, a guarantee that we won't raise your rates for 12 months as that visitor number grows.

- Placement - top of a given blog, immediately after the title, top of page, text of blog will be wrapped around ad

- Placement - At the conclusion of a given blog, after the content ends and before the social links, etc.
- Size - 100px x 100px

Who May/May Not Advertise
Well, in practice ... anyone. However, keeping in mind the demographic and spirit of this site - we are looking for advertisers who are interested in, and have content geared toward, mothers.
As a privately owned/operated blog, please keep in mind that while we welcome all inquiries - we reserve the right to refuse any and all advertisers or ads or ad destinations which we feel is not appropriate for Mommy-Magic.
What do we mean about "ads pointing to" or "ad destination" being inappropriate? Each case will be reviewed, but this includes cases where the ad itself and the destination are a mis-match (ad = mom product / destination = pharmaceuticals). Or, if we determine that the site your are pointing to is not in keeping with the values & spirit of Mommy-Magic.
Any questions regarding the appropriateness of your ad content/destination should be worked out *prior* to executing the advertising agreement.
Creative Creation
The advertiser is responsible for providing Mommy-Magic with all ad creative and specifications. If you do not have the resources to create an ad yourself, you can pay Mommy-Magic to create an ad for you. All creative work is priced based on the specific project and is non-refundable.
Payments & Refunds
Ads must be paid for via PayPal, using the funding method of your choice.
All ads are paid for in advance, on a month-by-month or per-blog basis. If you have contracted for a longer period of time, you will be billed monthly (five days before the end of a given month) for the duration of your contract. Failure to pay a given invoice will result in your ad being pulled from the site.
Advertising is non-refundable once committed and agreements have been executed.
Month-to-month agreements will auto-renew, unless 15 days notice of intent to cancel is sent to mary-susan (at) mommy-magic (dot) com.
Ad creative may be changed one time within any given billing month for no additional charge. Additional ad changes (unless due to a mistake on our part) will done for $10/change, due in advance of the change being executed. Ads on a blog may not be changed unless due to a mistake on our part.
All ad creative and specifications are due 10 days in advance of the go-live date. For example, if your ad is due to go live on August 1, your creative/specs are due on July 22.
